Class Eight, Grade Four  Linda

Last Sunday was my school holiday. I went to Flowers and Plants market with my mother and my grandmother. When we arrived there, I saw many flowers and plants first. They were all very beautiful. Then I heard many animals' sounds, "meow meow", "cluck cluck", "woof woof" and so on. Wow! It was pet's area over there. I went to the pet's area and saw many dogs, cats, birds and fish. Suddenly I saw plenty of little tortoises crawling in a glass tank. They were all as large as a coin and had a green body. They looked very cute. I liked them very much! I had a big tortoise at home, but it didn't have any friends. So I asked my mother to buy two little tortoises for me, and they could make friends with the big one.

I took two little tortoises to go home happily and I put them in a glass tank carefully. The two tortoises stayed in the tank tightly and were a little afraid. I put some fresh meat into the tank. After a few minutes, they smelled, and at last they began to eat the yummy food. I was very happy, because they must love their new house which I prepared for them.
