“Ting! Ting! Ting!” Listen, the clock is singing. It’s six in the morning. Kitty’s awake. She is excited. It’s the first of September today. The first day for school! She can go to school again. She can see her classmates and friends again after the long holiday. She jumps out of the bed. She brushes her teeth, washes her face and has breakfast.

“Goodbye, Mum. Goodbye, Dad.” Kitty runs to her bicycle. She goes to school by bike. At seven o’clock, Kitty is in the classroom. But there is only Kitty in the classroom. “Maybe I’m too early!” Kitty thinks. She waits and waits, but noboday comes. “Oh, I can read some books.” Half an hour later, still nobody comes. She looks around. The classroom is to dirty! Kitty decides to clean the classroom. She sweeps the floor, cleans the window, arranges the desks and chairs……

Kitty is very tired. Oh, it isn’t easy! Now it is half past eight. Why nobody comes to school? Are my classmates crazy?

Oh, my God! It’s Sunday today. The school starts tomorrow on September the 2nd this year. Kitty laughs and laughs. This is a busy morning, but Kitty is very happy. She is going to give everybody a nice surprise tomorrow!
